Architected and implemented a web-accessed software-as-service application to provide quality-of-service (QoS) analyses of mobile telephony carriers to corporate subscribers. Designed, architected, and engineered the company's core offering, working closely with the company founders. The result: an interoperating suite of web-based software-as-service applications that track grouped and individual recipient response to web marketing efforts. Architected and developed a consumer-facing web site, with a group of related web-based services, for this large Canadian grocery retailer. Created the entire initial launch site for this web-based dispute resolution system, now used by eBay and other online marketplaces. Developed and executed a 6-month re-implementation plan to move the Distance Learning's flagship ScribeStudio product from an enterprise-only sold-as-hardware server to a web-based software-as-service on-demand product available to individuals and enterprises.
Result: the on-demand product quickly outsold the enterprise server version soon after launch.
User interface design, and the technical architecture behind it, for this complex on-line betting system. User interface design, and UI code framework, for network management utilities. Development of an object-oriented code framework to drive/manage liquid air production facility monitoring systems. Development of a code framework to drive/manage large-scale telephone switching equipment. Also created end-user utilities based on this framework, including user interface design, in consultation with Ericsson's largest end-users. Design and delivery of the end-user experience (UI, software, middleware) for operators of PE's large-scale automated gene-sequencing machinery. Developed the initial launch site for the WebEx service. (Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates)
Designed and implemented a secure web-based workflow and document management system for internal use.
